　Lexer Research, Inc. has been promoting an industrial human resource development program (LeMMI 4.0) in Indonesia through JICA&#8217;s SDGs program with cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (BPSDMI) since 2019.The opening ceremony was held to commemorate the start of the training program and the arrival of the equipment to be used for the training at STMI Jakarta National Technical College in Indonesia.

　Lexer Research, Inc. has been promoting an industrial human resource development program (LeMMI 4.0) in Indonesia through JICA&#8217;s SDGs program with cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (BPSDMI) since 2019.</p>

<p>
　On July 27, 2021, an opening ceremony was held to commemorate the start of the human resource development program and the arrival of the equipment to be used for the training at the STMI Jakarta National Technical College in Indonesia. The ceremony was attended by Minister Agus from the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Director General Arus from BPSDMI, Ambassador Heri of Indonesia to Japan, and Ambassador Kanasugi of Japan to Indonesia.</p>
<p></p>
<p>
　From October 2021 or later, a second unit is scheduled to be installed at the Center for Industrial Digital Innovation (PIDI 4.0), and training will continue to be conducted both online and offline, depending on the status of COVID-19.　</p>
<p></p>
<p>
　LEXER will also continue to develop our digital manufacturing human resource training program for Indonesian industry called &#8220;LeMMI 4.0&#8221; to spread our digital engineering technology and engineering skills to Indonesian industry, and to improve the skills and educate lean manufacturing in the Indonesian manufacturing industry from both industry and academia perspectives.

　Lexer Research Inc. has been promoting industrial human resource development in Indonesia by utilizing the JICA SDGs program from FY2019. As the second phase of this project, we will start a dissemination demonstration activity with BPSDMI &#8211; Indonesian Ministry of Industry as the counterpart.

　Lexer Research Inc. has been promoting industrial human resource development in Indonesia by utilizing the JICA SDGs program from FY2019. As the second phase of the project research project in this project, we will start a dissemination demonstration activity in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia this year. Here, the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI), which is one of the agency inside the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, will serve as a counterpart to provide in-service education and student education in the manufacturing industry.</p>
<p></p>
<p>
　We are developing a digital manufacturing human resources education program for the Indonesian industry called &#8220;LeMMI 4.0&#8221;, and we will promote the practical development of this human resources development program.</p>
<p></p>
<p>
　Specifically, from July 26, a course to learn digital engineering and lean automation to advance the Indonesian manufacturing industry will be held at the Polytechnic STMI Jakarta under the guidance of BPSDMI. Here, by utilizing our production simulator GD.findi, We provide a place to learn the advanced design of production system, the waste elimination in production lines, the productivity improvement, and engineering methods to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). In addition, we will transfer equipment for learning LCA (Low Cost Automation) from Japan to Indonesia for practical education.　</p>
<p></p>
<p>
　In the future, after conducting instructor education through ToT (Training of Trainer), we plan to implement in-service education and student education in cooperation with the trained instructors.<br />
　Through this project, we will disseminate our digital engineering technology and engineering skills to the Indonesian industry and support the skill improvement of the Indonesian manufacturing industry.

Inc has been developing a cloud service together with its business partners, Fraunhofer IPA and Virtual Fort Knox, as part of its efforts to achieve digital transformation and Industry 4.0 in German manufacturing. This cloud service is based on LEXER RESEARCH ‘s production system simulator &#8220;GD.findi&#8221; and and has been featured in &#8220;Cloud Mall,&#8221; an initiative by the government of Baden-Württemberg to promote cloud technology.

　LEXER RESEARCH. Inc has been working with Fraunhofer IPA since 2018 to provide LEXER RESEARCH’s production system simulator &#8220;GD.findi&#8221; to support Virtual Fort Knox. Virtual Fort Knox is a cloud platform developed by the Fraunhofer IPA to realize Industry 4.0.</p>
<p></p>
<p>
　The purpose of this project is to integrate Virtual Fort Knox&#8217;s technology and GD.findi with the Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB), a software integration service, to realize optimized daily production planning simulation and digital real-time PDCA cycle.</p>
<p></p>
<p>
The cloud service being developed in this project introduced in the &#8220;Cloud Mall&#8221;, an initiative by the government of Baden-Württemberg to promote cloud technology. (https://cloud-mall-bw.de/praxispiloten/) This cloud service runs on Virtual Fort Knox&#8217;s cloud platform with GD.findi as the internal optimization engine and works with actual facilities.</p>
<p></p>
<p>
As a cloud service for a manufacturing industry that combines LEXER RESEARCH’s simulation technology with the German public cloud platform, we will contribute to achieve Industry 4.0 and introduce cyber-physical systems to the manufacturing industry in Germany.</p>

<p> LEXER RESEARCH Inc. (CEO Masahiro Nakamura) is promoting the implementation a digital engineering HRD program utilizing Lexer Research&#8217;s production simulator &#8220;GD.findi&#8221; with the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia as an initiative for digitization of Indonesian industry. Lexer Research&#8217;s efforts aimed at transforming Indonesia into a high-value-added industry and contributing to the Making Indonesia 4.0 policy have been adopted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the 1st of FY2020 of the dissemination/ demonstration/ commercialization project (SME support type) of the &#8220;SMEs &#038; SDGs Business Support Project&#8221;.</p>

 JICA&#8217;s SME / SDGs business support project matches the development needs of developing countries with the excellent products and technologies of Japanese private companies, aims to solve the issues faced by businesses and developing countries that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs (SDGs business), and strengthen bilateral relations and further promote economic relations through ODA. This time, Lexer Research&#8217;s efforts have been adopted as a dissemination / demonstration / commercialization project (SME support type).</p>
<p> Since December 2019, LEXER RESEARCH Inc. together with the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia has been promoting a digital engineering HRD program for the introduction of digital engineering technology and cyber-physical systems and the establishment of their implementation system, with the aim to strengthen and promote lean production in Indonesia. In Indonesia, the Making Indonesia 4.0 policy is underway to promote the digitization and automation of industries with the aim of breaking away from the labor-intensive industrial structure and transforming into high-value-added industries. However, in Japan, the issue is how to build a foundation system for realizing these, and, how to promote digital HRD. In response to these needs, Lexer Research Inc. has been conducting FS activities on digital HRD by utilizing the production system simulator &#8220;GD.findi&#8221; since Dec. 2019 through the JICA SDGs Project.<br />
<br />
 The adoption of this dissemination / demonstration / commercialization project (supporting SMEs) further promotes the activities so far, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia, will demonstrates this education program at educational institutions in Indonesia, and at the same time, will disseminate this educational concept and engineering technology to Indonesian industry. Here, taking advantage of the characteristics of the cloud service &#8220;GD.findi&#8221;, we will introduce it to a wide range of industries in the future while cooperating with local introduction support organizations and instructors.</p>
<p> Through efforts to introduce digital engineering technology, cyber-physical systems and Japanese-style manufacturing methods to the Indonesian industry, and to build a system for producing digital engineering human resources, We will contribute to the support of Indonesia&#8217;s Making Indonesia 4.0 policy, the strengthening of cooperation between Indonesia and Japan, and the achievement of the SDGs.</p>

Many preparations have been made so far, and now, it&#8217;s time to begin.<br />
<br />
LEXER RESEARCH Inc. will conduct a program to train the digital engineering personnel using GD.findi production simulator, in order to promote the effectiveness of lean production in the  manufacturing industries in Indonesia.<br />
<br />
Starting from August 24, a ToT (Training of Trainer) program will be held in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry. In spite of the corona fiasco, we will promote this program with great expectations and support from Indonesia&#8217;s Ministry of Industry.<br />
<br />
Through these activities, we will strive to strengthen the international cooperation between Japan and Indonesia and to establish Japan&#8217;s presence in Asia.	</p>
