The opening ceremony of the digital engineering course was held with the Indonesian Minister of Industry.
Lexer Research, Inc. has been promoting an industrial human resource development program (LeMMI 4.0) in Indonesia through JICA’s SDGs program with cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (BPSDMI) since 2019.
On July 27, 2021, an opening ceremony was held to commemorate the start of the human resource development program and the arrival of the equipment to be used for the training at the STMI Jakarta National Technical College in Indonesia. The ceremony was attended by Minister Agus from the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Director General Arus from BPSDMI, Ambassador Heri of Indonesia to Japan, and Ambassador Kanasugi of Japan to Indonesia.
From October 2021 or later, a second unit is scheduled to be installed at the Center for Industrial Digital Innovation (PIDI 4.0), and training will continue to be conducted both online and offline, depending on the status of COVID-19.
LEXER will also continue to develop our digital manufacturing human resource training program for Indonesian industry called “LeMMI 4.0” to spread our digital engineering technology and engineering skills to Indonesian industry, and to improve the skills and educate lean manufacturing in the Indonesian manufacturing industry from both industry and academia perspectives.
